Arena Rules

The rules of this server are really simple: We mirror the Code of Conduct for official servers.

Most important notes:

  • No offensive or racist language will be tolerated
  • No griefing your own team or purposely throwing games
  • Do not prevent people from playing the game, including non combat activities such as the Parkour challenges.
  • Purposely forfeiting a deathmatch game by purposely disconnecting is considered "throwing" and is against the server rules. If you do it continually, action will be taken against your account.
  • No use of any scripts or macros is allowed. This includes "Flak Macros" and Aimbots
  • Using "Emotes" or other non-combat animations in 1v1 and 2v2 games is forbidden
  • No "Human", "123", or "blank" Character names (steam name is ok)
  • No platform builds which completely prevent the dino from taking damage from other dinos, or abuse snap points (i.e. floating structures)

For more information, see the official Ark Code of Conduct [[1]]

Game Modes

1v1 Deathmatch.

Two players fight to the death. Upon entering the Arena, players will have 15 seconds to prepare for battle. They will then have 4 minutes to fight to the death. If at the end of the time limit no player has won, the match will enter OVERTIME, slowing player movement speed and draining health. In the arena, there are no draws.

Dueling

If you prefer to fight a specific person, you can challenge them to a duel. Walk up to the player, hold the action button (E) and select “Challenge to Duel”. The other player will then have the option to hold the action button (E) on you and select “Accept Challenge”. At this point, both players will be teleported to the Arena. However, unlike the 1v1 Deathmatch game mode, there is no reward for competing in a duel.

Mek Wars

Engage with 2-4 players in a free-for-all, last man standing deathmatch, but with MEKS! Upon entering the Arena, each player will be given a Mek with all attachments and plenty of ammunition. They will then have 10 minutes to fight to the death. Last Mek standing wins.

Ptera 1v1

Face off against your opponent in a battle of aerial superiority and pinpoint accuracy. Last player standing wins.

Capture the Artifact

This is our signature large-scale PvP combat. 2 teams fight to break into their opposing team’s base and destroy their artifact. Team up with your friends or join solo. Click here to learn more.

  • Note - only one Capture the Artifact game will be active at a time. If you queue up while a game is in progress, you will be added to the existing game.

Domination

A true test of ground PvP and tactical skill. Two teams fight for control of the Valguero Redwoods, competing to control the 5 flags throughout the map. There are no dinos, turrets, or other special items in this mode to help you, just you and your weapon. Click here to learn more.

  • Note - only one Domination game will be active at a time. If you queue up while a game is in progress, you will be added to the existing game.

Home Base

After spawning into the map, all players will be in Home Base. This is the main game lobby where you can access several structures and interact with other players who are waiting for a game, and also queue up for games.

Arena Transmitter

Access this structure in order to queue for random games within the arena. In order to earn Element Shards from winning, you must queue up through the Arena Transmitter.

The transmitter can also be used to Transfer to Another Arena on servers which support clusters.

Vault

Use the vault to store items you don't want to lose. Your vault is a Personal Structure. This means when you access the structure, you will only see your own items, and no one else’s.

Chibi Storage

Use the Chibi storage to store Chibis you are not currently using. Your chibi storage is a Personal Structure. This means when you access the structure, you will only see your own items, and no one else’s.
